Sojourn Gameplay Trailer | Overwatch 2

In the Overwatch comic Binary, we learn that Bastion and Torbjörn have now become friends. And we all know that Torbjörn just can't resist giving his friends some upgrades. This ties in well with our philosophy for their new looks, to make our heroes feel techier and sleeker. With Bastion, it's a little tricky at first because, if you think of Bastion, he almost feels like a very rickety old truck in the way he moves and he looks. We were able to give him a slightly sleeker look, while preserving some of that rustic flavor in his animations. You'll notice that tech upgrades weren't the only thing Bastion got. He also grabbed one of Torbjörn's old hats. When we first added Ganymede to Bastion's kit, it was to make him feel more approachable and more relatable. The hat does something very similar, while playing off his new-found friendship with Torbjörn.
