What is Business Information Technology?
If you're interested to know what business information technology is about then you should definitely watch this video because I'm going to explain on which components the business information technology is based and what possible future you have if you decide to do this really interesting working field. So check it out! My name is Raslan and I would say let's start with the first question and the first question is What is business information technology? If you want to study business information technology one day then you will face two main aspects which are integrated into this course. So the one aspect is it has some parts of elements of computer science and the other aspect is business administration. This is especially interesting for those people who are not only interested um to learn on how to code in a professional way but also for the people who are interested to learn on how to make your own code more profitable. And so let's say you have one day the big big intention to own your own fancy It Startup so it is not importantly important to know how to code something but also on how to know how to run a business how to hire people how to be profitable and all kinds of aspects which are also important for you
if you have the intention one day to have your own IT Company. I think in my opinion that business information administration could be the right way for you to learn those things! But it doesn't mean that if you don't have the intention to own your IT company one day that this kind, of course, is not interesting for you because many many companies out there and especially here in Germany those companies are really really looking for people who have like their own degree in business information technology because those kinds of people are really interesting and they're really really profitable for those companies which I'm going to explain in the further question question number two so the second question is: For which jobs you can apply with your business information technology degree? So during your study at the end of it, you have to decide to specialize yourself in which direction you see yourself working one day so most of the people who finish their degree in business information technology they usually work as an Application Developer, App Developer, Business Intelligence Analysis, Database Administrator, Data Warehouse Specialist, and many more.....
And of course as an IT Consultant which is for me personally one of the most interesting fields and I want to give you like good advice also on your way to not only spend your time during your study to get the best possible marks and to have like a really really good degree. But also to invest your time during your studying to work in a big IT company to get like your first working experience. So this is not only good for your future CV that you can show you have some kind of experience but also this kind of work also gives you a really good feeling if you can imagine work yourself one day as i IT consultant for example or as an app developer..... Ok, Let's go to the last question and I think this is like one of the most important questions in this video and the question is: Why should somebody hire you with your business information degree?
Like I said before you bring the expertise from one field of computer science, you know how to code something, how to code a program how to develop it but also you bring like the expertise on how to run the process of developing really interesting so or not interesting but how to make it more PROFITABLE. How to make it more efficient? To make this question or to answer this question is a little bit shorter. Your degree in business information technology helps the company make more money! And you have to be real every company like one of the first rules there exists is how to make more money and if they find people to increase their profits. Or even if you have the intention one day to decide to create your own IT company you also can use the knowledge you learn during the study to help you to run a company really nice profitable, really nice efficient!
